Built in 1980 in Denmark, Yacht Eleanor is an LM30 Scandinavian Motorsailer. Acquired by the current owner, she now resides in a Marina in Southampton and primarily cruises the Solent and South coast of the UK. ‘Eleanor’ is the much more widely available Fin keel version of the LM30, being both nimble and stable in the inshore and offshore waters of the UK. Eleanor originally came with a Bukh 36hp engine, However has been re-engined with a Volvo Penta MD2040 40hp. This was done in 2008 as part of continual improvements, which includes a new engine, saildrive system, and later a complete new suite of navigational electronics, utilising the Garnin GMI20 system. Eleanor is a great single hander, and can be manouvered with ease. However benefits from ample room both in the cockpit and the saloon for 4 people comfortablly.
